This course has been designed for personnel who hold “Survival craft and rescue boats other than fast rescue” and need to update their proficiency.
Requirement: Have the Certificate of Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats.
The course has been designed to update the practical skills set out in the Resolution dated 21 September of the General Directorate of the Merchant Marine.

Take charge of a survival craft or rescue boat during and after launching.
Operate the motor of a survival craft.
Organise the survivors and the survival craft after abandoning the ship.
Use of localization devices: communications and signalling equipment and flares signals.
Apply first aid to the survivors.
The course consists of 12 hours and it´s delivered over a period of 2 days.
Valid for 5 years.
