This course has been designed for personnel who hold “Fast Rescue Boats” certificate and need to update their proficiency.

Requirement: Have the Certificate of Fast Rescue Boats.

The course has been designed to update the practical skills set out in the Resolution dated 21 September of the General Directorate of the Merchant Marine.

Law: Updated Proficiency in “Fast rescue boats” according to the Resolution dated 21 September of the General Directorate of the Merchant Marine.

Amended STCW/78 Convention: Rule VI/2.2; Section A-VI/2.11; Table A-VI/2-2 of the Code.

Understand the construction, maintenance, repair, and equipment of fast rescue boats.

Handle the launching equipment and devices that are usually installed, during launching and recovery operations.

Take charge of a fast rescue boat during and after launching.

The course consists of 12,5 hours and it´s delivered over a period of  2 days.

Valid for 5 years.
