Controllers with experience in VTS and an interest in teaching.

Requirements: Hold a current VTS IALA C0103-1 certificate.

At the end of the course, trainees will be able to carry out correctly the role of an IALA VTS training instructor.

Maritime legislation: Since 6 July 2011, the Jovellanos Centre for Comprehensive Maritime Safety has been authorised by a resolution of the Directorate-General of the Merchant Navy to provide the ‘Vessel Traffic Services Training Instructor Course C0103-4’.

The course consists of 24 certified hours, it´s delivered over a period of 4 days..

The certificate will be valid for 5 years.
